Give one message room to be seen.
Choose the first thing people should notice
A poster rarely gets a patient first reading. Give the central message a clear scale advantage, then arrange supporting details so they can be found quickly.
Test distance and context
View the design at its intended size and from several steps away. A social version may need a different crop and fewer details than a printed poster. Do not assume shrinking the same artwork is enough.
Prepare the production version
Check image resolution, licensed fonts, safe areas and the printer’s file requirements. Proof names, dates, addresses and contact details independently from the visual review.
Explore the journal for new notes as they are published.
